We are a Non Government Organization (NGO)
involved in Social Welfare Activities. In the field of
environmental protection and preservation; we are actively
involved in prevention of cruelty against animals given to them
either by man or by nature. Many eminent and renowned social
workers and philanthropists are associated in this holy venture
of preserving and caring of these helpless animals.
Starting with a humble beginning in 1998 have
come a long way in establishing good facilities to take care of
more then 2500 stray, ill-nourished and helpless cows. We
provide shelter and food to these homeless cattle and also take
care of their medical needs at our sprawling establishment DABAR
HARE KRISHNA GAUSHALA. The gaushala has ten lenter and tukdi
sheds in total. As far as the water arrangement is concerned,
gaushala has provided each shed a separate water tank and one
pond. Gaushala has its own Gobar Gas plant. The insecticides and
medicine are prepared in large amount from the Gobar and Gau Mutra. This Gaushala produces vermin compost in largest amount
in Delhi. Gaushala organizes training camps and awareness camps
about vermin compost.
The gaushala is inspected every month by
Director, Animal husbandry Delhi Govt. The Members of Animal
Welfare Board, Delhi State Ministers, MLA including press
reporters visit Gaushala in its Annual function among thousands
of people.
In the presence of Gaushala Chairman, we try our best to aware
people about how to stop killing of cows for general purposes.
Regarding this work we face certain problems because of absence
of special identity cards provided by you. This awareness
program cannot be completed successfully without these identity
cards. We, therefore humbly request you to provide us the
special identity cards for each member of Gaushala so that we
could continue our awareness program successfully.
AWARENESS TRAINING CENTRE
KVIC, Mumbai has sanction its authorized awareness-training
center vide letter no. BT/BM/EC/2003-04/0616, Dated 23rd June
2003 to Dabar Hare Krishna Gaushala.
Main objectives of training center: -
Entrepreneurship Development Program:
To run the Entrepreneur Development Program for rural people
through training.
Training center on various concepts like
use, distribution, storage of vermi-compost fertilizer.
Breed Improvement Center: The trust
do research work on breed improvement of worms suitable for
vermi-composting.
Awareness to youth for setup self
production unit under KVIC Margin Money Scheme.
Awareness for Bio-fertilizer.
Demonstration Center: The trust has
its Demonstration Center of vermi culture and
vermi-composting.
